Ben is 12 years old and he sometimes uses AI for his homework. AI can explain difficult words, give him ideas, help him practise English and answer questions. It is fast and useful, and many people use AI at school and at work.
But AI is not always right. Sometimes it gives a wrong answer, so Ben needs to think and check important information.
There is another problem too. If Ben asks AI to do all his homework and simply copies the answers, he doesn’t really learn. It is like using a robot to play football for you. The robot gets the practice, but you don’t!
So, should we stop using AI? No. AI will probably be very important in the future. People who know how to use it well may study and work faster. If we never learn to use new technology, we may fall behind.
The best idea is simple: use AI, but use your brain too. Ask questions, check answers and learn from it. AI can be a great helper — just don’t make it the boss!
